St. John Vianney Catholic School
I feel lucky everyday to be a math teacher. Sure, my Master's degree is in English Education and it may seem a little weird that I would prefer to teach math but honestly I do. Maybe it's the way math feels like a million puzzle pieces that must fit together in such a way that the rest makes sense. Maybe it's the idea that students learn in different ways - so the constant differentiation gives me a new experience each day. No matter what it is, I don't think I would change it for the world.
Teaching Middle School (6th-8th Grade) is a challenge in and of itself. Somehow, each day I enjoy it more than the last. My students and I work to solve the problems set before us and because of it we, as a group, have great success.
